JOB BACKGROUND:

Atnahs’ strategy involves acquisitive growth and this involves a significant pipeline of both M&A and Product Development (PD) deals. The CIU Project Manager will be responsible for the effective project management of on-going internal and external projects within Atnahs, with a focus on covering the full remit of M&A and PD transactions and will report directly into the Head of the Commercial Intelligence Unit (CIU). In particular, the role’s focus will be end to end management of M&A and PD deals, from project initialisation to the deal execution stage. The CIU Project Manager will also be responsible for coordination of the deal team, collaborating with a variety of departments both internally and externally in order to ensure timely provision of DD reports and the production of our Product/(company) Acquisition Evaluation Framework (PAEF). The CIU Project Manager will require the ability to build relationships with both new and existing partners, ensuring a smooth DD and Q&A process during buy-side M&A product and company transactions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Planning, tracking and monitoring BD project plans to meet within the pre-defined project timelines
  • Collaborating with the wider deal team to ensure a timely provision of department DD reports
  • Quarterbacking deals, covering the full remit from project initialisation to deal execution and completion
  • Building relationships with internal stakeholders as well as new and existing BD partners, ensuring a smooth DD and Q&A process during product and company acquisition projects
  • Creation of project timelines and meeting structures to support the completion of individual projects, alongside their routine tracking and monitoring
  • Responsible for regular and ad-hoc reporting to Executive Team from an BD projects perspective
  • Managing deal pipelines for both M&A and PD, and coordinating monthly BD meetings, alongside significant involvement in our regular PD-focused Atnahs India and Atnahs Nordics meetings
  • Consolidation of other business-wide initiatives that focus on driving acquisitive and organic growth
  • Collaborating with the Exec, CIU and wider DD team, alongside other PMs in the business and the leaders of growth-focused initiatives, to help drive these projects to completion
